This online training course discusses sensory stimulation programming in the long term care setting. It provides an overview of sensory stimulation along with how to establish and/or improve sensory programs in your facility. The course ofers insight into all aspects of the sensory program including developing a list of residents to target, using sensory materials, care planning of sensory programs, and involving facility staff. This session will provide you knowledge and crestive ideas to implement an effective sensory program.

Participants will complete / submit a questionnaire and receive 1 CEU training hour.
